The Kohala Plumeria, AKA Scott Pratt, is one of the darkest red plumeria cultivars known. It produces a dark velvet red blossom with dark purple veins. Very fragrant with a spicy, cinnamon scent. This particular cultivar was named after Scott Pratt who was the Farm Manager of the Kohala Sugar Plantation on the Big Island of Hawaii.
Most all of our trees originated from the Islands of Hawaii, including our Kohala. Our plants have been grown and nurtured with the spirit of Aloha. All rooted cuttings are well established as represented in the photo of a plant of similar size and age. Prior to shipment, large leaves will be removed, and the plant will be carefully packed in damp moss to ensure freshness upon arrival.
