The Paul Weissich Plumeria was named after the former Director of the Foster Botanical Gardens in Honolulu, HI. He was the Director of the oldest botanical garden in the islands, listed on the National Register of Historical Places, from 1957-1989. The Paul Weissich Plumeria produces a large, 3 ½ inch, golden yellow blossom with an orange center, outlined by pale pink bands on the edges of the petals. The aroma of the blossoms is light and peachy.
Purchase of this plumeria will include one ROOTED CUTTING of similar size as represented in the photo above and will range between 8-18 inches tall. Most all of our trees originated from the Islands of Hawaii, including our Paul Weissich. Our plants have been grown and nurtured with the spirit of Aloha. All rooted cuttings are well established as represented in the photo of a rooted cutting of similar size and age. Prior to shipment, large leaves and soil will be removed, and the plant will be carefully packed in damp moss or paper towels to ensure freshness upon arrival. Plants with inflos (blooms) are considered a bonus. Although we take extra care in packing our plants, we do not guarantee blooms or inflos that may be disrupted during shipping.
